I can't quite believe how long it's been since I last posted on this blog, and I apologise for not being on it.
It's hard to think of the things that i've done since July. Well in August I turned the big 1- 9, not that big at all seeing as all my friends here at uni are turning 21 this year, I'm the baby. On the 13th of August I performed at Sunshine 2011 at the Splash alongside local legends Lloyd Yates and Rick Jones, and internationals Rocca DeLuca and Israel Cannan. It was a brilliant night and as surprisingly the Splash wasn't as hot and sweaty as it usually is.
Next on the list of happenings, is JerseyLive which took place at the very beginning of September. It was an amazing gig to play, the crowd were great especially for putting up with my bad jokes that day, I apologise for that. I even got to dress up as a pirate which was such good fun.

In july I had the honour of supporting Nerina Pallot at a small function gig, and in September she invited me back to support her on the first date of her UK tour at the Jersey Opera House. I was over the moon to say the least and on the night everything went perfectly, and it was by far the best gig I have ever played at. Performing to 600 people was nerve racking but it gave me the biggest adrenaline kick and I was buzzing all night. I have to thank Nerina for letting me once again open for her, she truly is an incredible artist.
From that incredible gig I played at Hope Street Feast the two days after just before starting back at Uni. I've played numerous other small gigs, Monday Marmalade at Chameleon, the Brink, the 2ube. I've tried hard to remember everything. But more importantly I promise that I will update this blog, and next time i'll make it light reading instead of this essay i've written.
Night. x
